A. I have an entire guide that will help you! But if I had to pick one thing it would be this -- do NOT use bar soap anywhere you get pimples! The stuff that makes bar soap solid will clog your pores -- and this includes clear acne bars!

How do i cure irritation from my pimple and prevent it from leaving a scar?
Q. this is 3 questions in 1, but all of the questions are linked to each other so please bear with me... i had this massive pimple below my lip and it hadn't "sprouted" yet, but i tried to pop it anyway. i was unsuccessful in popping it since it wasnt "out" yet. i kept on trying for several days until i finally got it. now i have a red spot with a scab over it and my skin around that area is very irritated from so much poking at my pimple. because i poked around that area so much ANOTHER pimple is coming out right next to that massive one so that area is getting more irritated because it's itchy and i can't stop scratching. how do i cure the irritation, prevent my former pimple from leaving a scar and prevent the new pimple from coming out?

A. You should never poke at them. But if you did, then put rubbing alcohol on it to dry and cleanse it and go to the drug store and get a bottle of liquid vitamin e and apply generously. This is a good treatment for other scars or cuts too.

Q. A few days ago, I got 2 nasty pimples; one on my nose and the other on my chin. I squeezed them a little, but I didn't pop them. I used some Clearasil Acne Cream and it dried out the pimple, but the area around the pimple is really red and it hurts to the touch. It is more noticeable on my nose, and it is just like a random rusty red patch of skin. Any ways I can help reduce the redness today at home? I go back to school tomorrow. Thanks!

You can go to the dermatologist and get this removed and at that time, they will check the cells for cancer. But, since you have had this for some time and if it hasn't changed in size or appearance, your chances of it being cancer are low but they will check it anyway. These are called nevi's.

Q. i have a pimple and it is making a red bump on my face. i heard if you hold ice to it the redness will go away, is that true? Are there any other ways?

How do I get rid of an oncoming pimple over night?

A. 1)Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. 2)Apply undiluted lemon juice, two to three times a day, on the affected areas. 3)Use green tea as a face scrub to loose blackheads. 4)try don't to eat to much junk food like chips chocolate ect.because you can get more by that. 5)Try to stay away from fatty foods. Eating correctly is very important in terms of keeping acne away.

What products at drugstores are good for pimples and pimple scars?
Q. Any good products for pimples and pimple scarring, mainly scarring though at drugstores. i need clear skin for skool and only have 1 month to do this...

A. Acne scarring is perhaps worse than the acne itself. My acne scars weren't horrible. They probably weren't even that noticeable after I put on my foundation. However, I certainly noticed them and that was all it took to bother ME. If you've got acne scars, you may feel a bit helpless. But you don't have to because there are alternatives to getting rid of acne scars. And you CAN do something about it. So what do you do about it? Q. My pimple seems to be gone, but now I have a dime size red mark on my skin. I am a guy so I do not have make-up to conceal it. I heard toothpaste, benzoyl peroxide, egg white, basil, visine, & numerous other remedies but am not sure which one really works. From experience, can you tell me what I should put on the pimple overnight to reduce the redness? Thanks.

A. Wash your face with dial soap, rinse well with warm then cool water and pat dry. Then apply with a cotton ball 70% Isopropyl Alcohol at least twice a day to get the redness to go away. This has worked for both my sons when they had this problem and now they know how to treat it if and when it happens again. Makeup would only make matters worse for the condition anyway. Best of luck and in a day or two the redness will be gone.
